We move into our new office today in the bio-incubator at the Norwich Research Park. This is temporary accommodation until the IT incubator is built (hopefully in 12-18 months).
Maps and directions will be posted shortly. Our postal address and other contact details remain the same.
I'll be joining the advisory committee for the JISC Open Source Advisory Service, "OSS Watch".
This is the service we bid for back in June. It was awarded to Oxford University under the guidance of Sebastian Rahtz, whom I met last year when he delivered a session on XML in an Apache Environment before my session on XML Everywhere at the Institutional Web Management Workshop. He's a great guy and is already doing a good job of disseminating information, at the JISC End of Programme meeting where we joined him in talking about Technology Transfer with Open Source.
It will be exciting to be involved in the advisory service and I hope I can be of use to them. It will fit nicely with what will hopefully be an increased role within the Association For Free Software, too.
